Drop off times 8:30 to 9am. Camp hours 9am to 4:30pm. Pick up 4:30 to 5pm.
Lunches: For lunches we recommend packing a brown bag lunch or small soft cooler that can fit in a day pack as the kids are on the go. We also recommend sending along snacks and a water bottle. We don’t provide lunch as all of the various dietary needs and requirements of various campers helped us determine it was best that parents decide upon their child’s lunch.
Swiftwater Adventures day camp facilitators are all certified in first aid and cpr. Trip leaders of the adventure activities, such as whitewater rafting, have swiftwater rescue training, wilderness first aid training, as well as at least 5 years experience. All employees and camp facilitators have passed criminal background checks and are all around cool people!
These camps are an adventure gourmet buffet! Throughout the week participants will get a taste of whitewater rafting and paddling adventures, ropes course and rock climbing, orienteering, canyoneering, outdoor and science education, introduction to wilderness first aid and CPR, and wilderness survival skills. Every day is a new adventure!
Campers will experience adventure, learn outdoor and adventure skills, team building, self-reliance, problem solving, resilience, and nature appreciation.
